Your information deserves care
Privacy
policy.
Effective date: October 20, 2026. This draft explains the categories of information the MithraCare app may process and how sharing works. The legal operator, jurisdiction-specific rights, retention periods and final provider list must be confirmed before public launch.
1. Information you provide
Depending on the features you use, the app may process your name, email address, phone number, sign-in identifiers, care-circle membership, medicine names and routines, dose activity, health readings, reports, insurance documents, profile images, messages and information about people you care for.
2. Device and usage information
The app may process device identifiers and push-notification tokens to deliver alerts. If you grant permission and use an SOS feature, it may access and share your location for that alert. Health or motion integrations operate only when supported, configured and permitted on your device.
3. How information is used
Information is used to provide account access, care-circle coordination, medicine reminders, health summaries, document handling, support and security. It may also be processed to troubleshoot, protect and maintain the service.
4. Sharing within care circles
Information is not automatically visible to every member. Access depends on circle membership, permissions and each member’s sharing settings. Medicine and report owners can use available visibility controls. Review the choices in the app before adding sensitive information.
5. Service providers
Information may be processed by providers used to operate enabled features, such as cloud hosting and file storage, authentication, push notifications, email delivery, AI-assisted features and payment processing. The provider list and data flows must be kept current with the deployed configuration. Providers process data under their own terms and applicable agreements.
6. Security
Connections to the backend use HTTPS/TLS. The app encrypts selected medicine fields in the backend database when the required encryption key is configured. Uploaded medical documents follow a separate encryption path. Some metadata and on-device cached app data may not be encrypted by the app itself. Access controls, device security, infrastructure configuration and backups also affect protection.
No system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device and account credentials, and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.
7. Retention and deletion
Information is retained as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Account deletion and retention behavior can depend on backup cycles and operational requirements; contact support for a request concerning your information.
8. Your choices and rights
You can manage certain sharing and notification settings in the app. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal information. Contact us to make a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
9. Children and dependent information
The service is intended for adults coordinating care. An adult may enter information about a dependent or child only where they have appropriate authority and in accordance with applicable law. The app is not intended for children to create accounts independently.
10. Policy changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes should be reflected here with a revised effective date. For privacy questions or requests, email caretaker24domain@gmail.com.
